Morning – Afternoon

• Review winch operation, components, safety

  • Line management

  • Stuck Assessments

• Drive/winch assist management

• Use of pulleys, mechanical advantage

• Anchor and gear selection

Lunch

• Field lunch (participant-provided)

Afternoon

• Progressive winching exercises

• Instructor-led coaching

• Ongoing assessment against Lantra standards

Evening

• Camp setup

• Hi-Lo Campfire Debrief

Day 1 – Saturday, March 7

• Gradient management (ascents, descents, side slopes)

• Traction management

• Use of gears, throttle, and braking techniques

• Terrain reading and line selection

• Progressive terrain exercises

• Instructor-led coaching

• Ongoing assessment against Lantra standards

Evening

• Camp setup

• Hi-Lo Campfire Debrief

Application & Certification

• Advanced driving scenarios

• Real-world terrain application

• Individual assessment runs

Late Morning – Midday

• Final evaluations
