Discover the rugged beauty of the Ozarks on an unforgettable 3-day vehicle-supported bike adventure that takes you deep into the heart of Arkansas’ stunning landscapes. Whether you're here for the thrill of challenging rides, the rich history, or just to immerse yourself in nature, this trip offers it all. This is more than just a ride — it's an adventure through some of the most beautiful and remote areas in the country, with vehicle support to lighten your load and enhance the experience.
Day 1: 58.16 Miles - From Creeks to Bluffs
The first day is a beast, covering over 58 miles, but the reward is worth it. You'll tackle steep climbs and rough terrain, with your legs and lungs tested along the way. But don’t worry, it’s not all grit — you'll visit the historic Union Schoolhouse and ford a couple of crystal-clear creeks, immersing yourself in the hidden gems of the Ozarks. As the day winds down, you’ll be treated to a stunning downhill section that leads you to the Piney River. You’ll camp at one of our most scenic campsites, nestled on a gravel bar surrounded by towering bluffs on the east. Fall asleep to the calming sounds of rapids just yards away, under a sky filled with stars.
Day 2: 47.18 Miles - A Journey Through Time
Day two may be shorter at 47 miles, but it won’t hold back on adventure. You’ll climb out of the river valley, briefly touch pavement to save your legs, and then climb to the bluff that loomed over your camp the night before. The day will be filled with stunning views of old Arkansas, with glimpses into the state’s rich history. The uphill sections will challenge you, but the daring coast down the massive elevation loss will feel like a victory. You’ll set up camp once again on a secluded gravel bar by the Little Piney River, falling asleep to the gentle gurgle of the water beside you.
Day 3: 33.62 Miles - Gravel and Glory
The final day is a gravel-filled return to the charming town of Oark. While the mileage is lighter at 33.62 miles, the Ozarks still have a few surprises in store. You’ll visit "Bub's Homestead," a slice of Arkansas history, before fording yet another creek to reach it. As you pedal back through the winding gravel roads, your anticipation will grow for a well-deserved burger and slice of pie at Oark’s famed café. The satisfaction of completing this epic adventure will stay with you long after the ride ends.
