Overview

This trip is designed for experienced drivers and well-prepared vehicles looking to apply advanced skills in real terrain over multiple days.

This is not a training course and not suitable for beginners. Participants should arrive with:

  • Prior off-road experience

  • Solid vehicle setup

  • Comfort operating independently under guidance

The focus is on:

  • Technical terrain

  • Route commitment

  • Driver judgment

  • Efficient group movement

Instruction may occur organically in the field, but this is an application-forward experience, not a training event.

Tentative Trip Schedule

Day 1 – Friday, March 27

Arrival & Commitment

9:00 AM – Pre-Trip Briefing

  • Meet & greet

  • Communications check

  • Vehicle and recovery gear review

  • Route overview and expectations

Late Morning – Afternoon

  • Entry into technical terrain

  • Progressive obstacles

  • Controlled recoveries as required

Evening

  • Camp setup in remote location

  • Evening discussion:

    • Hi-Lo campfire debrief

    • Review of challenges encountered

Day 2 – Saturday, March 28

Full Commitment Day

9:00 AM – Camp Departure

  • Long day of technical driving

  • Limited bypasses

  • Terrain may include:

    • Rock

    • Mud

    • Steep ascents/descents

    • Water crossings (conditions dependent)

Midday

  • Field lunch (self-supported)

Afternoon

  • Continued technical terrain

  • Recovery operations as necessary

Evening

  • Hi-Lo campfire debrief

  • Review of challenges encountered

Day 3 – Sunday, March 29

Exit & Recovery

Morning

  • Camp breakdown

  • Final technical sections

Late Morning – Midday

  • Trail exit

  • Trip concludes midday to early afternoon.

  • Recovery support and field repair assistance
