We are not rig-ist.
Our scout vehicle for this route:
1st Gen Tacoma
33” tires
Rear locker
No winching required
We teach driver skill over vehicle modification every day.
Our baseline expectation is:
Run what you’ve got.
Just understand:
The more built your vehicle is, the lower the likelihood of winching.
Lighter builds may experience light terrain contact.
Preparation reduces friction — but skill matters more.
If your vehicle is mechanically sound, equipped with recovery points, and you understand the risk, you’re welcome.
This Trip Is For You If:
You have prior off-road experience
You are comfortable with technical terrain
You accept that scratches and dirt are part of the game
You want guidance without hand-holding
This Trip Is Not For:
Greenhorn off-road drivers
Brand-new builds you’re afraid to use
Drivers looking for a bypass-only experience
If you’ve been on the fence about harder terrain, this is the most accessible way to find out where you stand.
Spots are limited to 8 vehicles.
We run at 5 minimum.
Starting Location:
Simmons Quik Stop
11530 N Hwy 71, Mountainburg, AR 72946
